Zzaslow K-427 - A Film by Robert Ham

Zzaslow K-427 follows an unassuming black Labrador, the longest-serving mine dog of the post-9/11 era, whose work saved lives on and off the battlefield. From a foster home after 9/11 to elite training at Lackland and three Afghanistan deployments with handler Juan J. Colón-Estrada, Zzaslow’s calm nose finds danger before it finds soldiers. When Adam Zaslow, who lost his father Ira on 9/11, discovers the dog who shares his family name, their lives entwine in a story of grief, brotherhood, and an unbreakable bond.
